Office Safety

For your protection our infection control and sterilization measures are consistently applied. One of the features of our infection control program is rigorous instrument care and sterilization.

Our instrument sterilization is a multi-step process that begins with placing instruments in a unit that cleans with ultrasonic sound waves.

Cleaned instruments are sealed into a cassette which is placed in a sterilizing autoclave. Here, cassette and instruments are exposed to high heat and pressure. By the time they are removed from the autoclave, both the cassette and the instruments have been sterilized.

The newly-sterile instruments are stored in the sealed, sterilized cassette until needed for dental procedures. The system works well to protect patients' health and safety.
